Britain leads bumper year for Ferrari

FERRARI may be struggling on the Formula One track, but its bank accounts are in fine shape after profits reached new record highs. After delivering 3,631 cars in the first six months of the year – 3.6% fewer than the me period in 2013, in line with the company's plans to reduce deliveries – revenues were up 14.5% to almost £1.35 billion. Profits rose 5.2% to £185 million, which should pay for a good send-off for the outgoing Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo after his 23 years of service.

Tesla has opened a Flagship Showroom in London's Kensington Located in Cheval Place in Kensington, which is round the corner from Harrods and with easy access to Heathrow (depending on the time of day and the traffic!), the new Tesla Showroom will be supplemented by Sales & Service Centres in Monaco, Munich and Zurich. IAM Highlights Concerns Of Driving With Dementia

THE Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has revealed through a new survey that a decline in cognitive abilities – for example the onset of dementia – is the greatest concern that families have about elderly relatives driving. Forty-two per cent of people who have concerns about an older relative driving have tried to discuss this with them. According to the IAM, people with dementia may still be able to drive safely for some time after it has been diagnosed, but because of the progressive nature of the disease, there will come a time when they have to give up.
